FAQ

Q. where is head shot happy hour?

A. HSHH is held in my Austin studio- we are in the 78745 zip code. We also offer on-location services at a different price point.

Q. whAT ARE WE DRINKING?

A. Please BYO your favorite beverage- I’ll provide glasses and ice + mixers on request.

Q. How many people can come to my head shot happy hour?

A. Right now we are capping the groups at 10 people max and a minimum of 4 is required. If you're with a larger company and would still like to participate, we offer on-location services so still touch base with me!

Q. How long until i get my images?

A. You'll receive a password protected gallery with the proofs from your shoot within one week of the happy hour. Once you select your favorites, I will return your edits within a week unless otherwise specified. If you're in a hurry, let me know at happy hour and we'll make it work!

Q. what if i want more than the 3 edits that are included?

A. Additional edits are $15/image.

Q. where can i use these images?

A. These are for your personal use on your website and social media. Please always include photo credit when posting on social media or using in any other publications.

Q. will you airbrush me and make me look skinnier?

A. I provide basic edits on all images (exposure, contrast, white balance, etc.) and I am happy to do minor Photoshop work (i.e. get rid of that nasty zit that popped up the morning of our shoot or fix that one single flyaway hair). I will not make you skinnier because you are wonderful and beautiful and also- it just looks weird. I do provide total airbrushing and skin clean up for $10/image.

Q. do i get to choose my backdrop color?

A. Your group will collectively decide on two color options between black, light greybright blueyellowpinkcrimsongreen, and navy. I also shoot against white walls as a third option.

Q. do you offer makeup services?

A. I have a short list of three makeup artists I love to work with who provide makeup touch ups for $25-35/person. Subject to availability so ask me in advance!

Q. what is the difference between a regular head shot happy hour and open head shot happy hour?

A. Typically, you set up a date with your group of co-workers or friends. Sometimes people want a head shot but their friends/coworkers don’t currently need one. I designed Open Head Shot Happy Hour for those people who can’t meet my four person minimum. Open Head Shot Happy Hour must also reach the required minimum to take place but it’s a fun way to make new friends and still get a cool, affordable head shot.

Q. How do I book?

A. Let me know you want to come to Happy Hour by filling out a form here.
